Purchase gift cardsNathaniel Vazquez, a native to Puerto Rico, discovered his passion for cooking early on in life and honed his skills at the Escuela Hotelera de San Juan, graduating from both the International Culinary Arts and International Bakery and Pastry Programs. He began his culinary journey at just 16, working in Romano's Macaroni Grill, and by 19, he launched his own crepe food truck in Sabana Grande. After relocating to Lexington, Kentucky, to join his family, Nathan quickly rose through the ranks, becoming Executive Chef at Jean Farris Winery and Bistro and later serving as sous chef at Heirloom Restaurant in Midway. Chef Vazquez is known for blending southern cuisine with his Puerto Rican roots, aiming to create standout dishes that celebrate both traditions and elevate the culinary scene in the Bluegrass.
